Attractions around the world are exploring smell uses to prevent the spread of COVID-19
With many venues planning to reopen, interactives and environments that guests can smell, without risk of infection, are being embraced.
Discussing the museum sector, The Telegraph has recently published an article which details how sites are taking this approach.
"Instead of the standard hands-on displays which would be easily contaminated and impractical to clean, curious young visitors could more safely be immersed in scent."
Our long-time customer, the Jorvik Viking Centre, is referenced as a location where smell is "used to great effect". Jorvik brings its viking village to life with the life-like smells of burning wood, cooking meat and even a cesspit!
Theme parks and escape rooms are also turning to 'non-touch' interactives, and we have been advising them on their individual needs. Want some ideas on how this can be done? Read ahead.....
