Bird Boxes Adapted for Outdoor Smell Trail

For visitor attractions with smaller budgets, bird boxes are excellent tools for adapting into smell stations!

This is what National Trust's Cliveden did for their Easter Adventures trail.

When adapting a bird box, simply put your scented material inside the box and fasten down the top lid, then your visitors can sniff the scent from the hole in the front! In this case, Cliveden used our Aroma Cubes to feature Easter scents like Cookies and Milk Chocolate. Aroma Cubes are handy for small, temporary features like this one, but for something longer-lasting, for which you may need more potency, longevity and the ability to top up the scent, the Aroma Block is the best solution.

Bird boxes are great for temporary features and for indoor displays. If your bird boxes are outdoors, we strongly recommend adding a grille or flap to each hole to help prevent birds and insects moving in!
