Fans Enjoy Authentic Alton Towers Smells During Lockdown
While stuck at home to prevent the spread of COVID-19, fans of Alton Towers Resort have been transporting themselves back to their favourite rides with the use of the attractions' authentic smells by AromaPrime.
We recently teamed up with Alton Towers Resort and theme park YouTuber, Theme Park Worldwide, to create an interactive 'guess the smell' event online.
Shawn at Theme Park Worldwide tried different pongs from the Resort and guessed which was which, with some amusing reactions along the way! He also described each scent to the audience, allowing them to play along. This was streamed on the Alton Towers Facebook page, as well as on YouTube, and we gave away smelly prizes to a few successful guessers.
During lockdown, fans around the world have been enjoying the aromas of their favourite attractions, and this is no surprise, considering how strongly smell connects to our memories.
